Admissions Information

Entrance Requirements

After an interview with an admissions representative, the prospective student will tour the facility and complete a pre-enrollment checklist. The admissions process proceeds with the completion of pre-entrance forms including an enrollment agreement and interview (in person or on the phone by the school director). Accepted students will be notified of orientation for new students (attendance at which is required for all students) held on or before the start of classes to introduce the student with the opportunities and policies of the Institute.

Applicants are required to write a 250 word essay: describe the attributes you posses that would make you an ideal candidate for the esthetician program at ESI.

The Elaine Sterling Institute requires one of the following:

• A high school diploma accredited by an agency authorized by the US Department of Education (Thorough investigation into the validity and accuracy of the diploma will be executed. If the diploma is proven to be invalid documentation, the student will be dismissed from school and appropriate charges or refunds of tuition payments and/or Title IV funding resulting in overpayments will be initiated.)
• A GED (General Equivalency Diploma) accredited by an agency authorized by the US Department of Education

Please see your admissions representative for information regarding online GED prep courses. There is no online GED Test. The GED Test must be taken in person at a location approved by the state.
