How long is the Esthetician Program?

The esthetician program is 1000-clock hours and should take you 9-10 months with full-time attendance, and 12-13 months with part-time attendance.

How long is the Massage Therapy Program?

The Massage Therapy program is 650-clock hours and should take you 7-12 months.

How long is the Nail Care Program?

The Nail Care program is 600-clock hours and should take you 6.5-10 months.

What is the weekly schedule?

We have a flexible schedule to accommodate many of life’s challenges. Day program full-time is 9am- 2:30pm Monday through Friday. The part-time evening is 6pm-10pm Tuesday through Thursday and every Saturday 8.30am-4.30pm.

Do you offer a night program?

Yes, we offer an evening program. We start our evening program once per month. Our evening program is offered Tuesday-Thursday evening 6pm-10pm and Saturday attendance 8:30am-4:30pm.

Are there school holidays?

ESI is closed in observance of certain holidays, including:

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Memorial Day
1st week of July
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Black Friday
Winter Break 

What is the dress code?

Tops
  • ESI T-Shirts, ESI scrub tops, ESI Sweaters can be worn over ESI T-shirts, Solid black long sleeve shirts may be worn under a short sleeve top
  • Name badges must always be worn and visible above the waist
  • If inclement weather, jackets or sweaters must be solid black
Bottoms
  • Classic solid black scrub pants only
  • Bottoms must hit the top of the shoe
  • No jeans allowed
Shoes
  • Must be closed-toed, rubber soled, and in good condition
  • Sandals, boots, Ugg’s, rain boot, clogs, moccasins, heels, etc . Will not be permitted
  • ESI recommends athletic sneakers

 

Do you offer tutoring?

Yes, we do offer tutoring as needed. There is an additional cost for tutoring, but our curriculum is set up in such a way tutoring is not usually needed. We have a systematic methodology to our educational process – we make learning FUN!

How is the parking situation?

Very convenient parking right outside the school door.

Is the school accredited?

We are accredited with the Council On Occupational Education COE www.council.org. In compliance with the NPEC (Non Public post Secondary Education Commission)

What does accreditation mean?

Accreditation means we have met very vigorous standards set by our accrediting body to assure that we offer quality education.

Do you offer Financial Aid?

ESI is approved to provide Federal Student Aid to eligible students who wish enroll in the 1000 hour Esthetician Program and 600 hour Nail Care Program. We also offer payment plans and various options for cash paying students. Please contact the financial aid office for more information and you can also complete the FAFSA enrollment form online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ using our school Code 042045.

Can I get a loan?

Do you network and do you offer job placement?

Yes, we have a very active placement department and we believe networking with industry leaders is vital to our present students’ ability to be placed upon graduation. Whilst we do not promise you a job we connect you with potential employers and assist you with your resume and audition skills.

Do you accept student visas or VA students?

Yes, we accept VA and foreign students. There is an application and an approval process.

What is the age range of our students?

We have a wide diverse group of individuals ranging from 18-65 years of age.

What is ITEC?

ITEC is the International Therapist Exam Council. ITEC is an international certification that is recognized in over 37 countries worldwide allowing candidates to work internationally. The ITEC curriculum is included in all programs and a certification class can be taken for an additional cost as a post graduate course. This certification ensures that your training is current and meets international standards. So whether you wish to work overseas or stay in the USA you have the top internationally recognized certifications.

What is cidesco?
