Deeply passionate about the esthetic industry, Khat’s ultimate goal at ESI is to help students acquire the training and skills to create a fulfilling career.
Originally from Cambodia, Khat‘s interest in esthetics was sparked at a young age. Her mother taught her the importance of caring for the skin and seeing the body as a temple. In 1980, her family left their home country to escape political unrest and follow the American dream. Khat continued to pursue her passion in the United States and began practicing as a licensed esthetician in 2008.
Khat finds great satisfaction in helping clients feel confident and look their best through treatment of the skin. Some of her favorite industry services to provide include facials, waxing and chemical peels.
Her seasoned background includes working in a dermatology office and a variety of nails shops and spas. In addition to being an ESI instructor, Khat works as freelance esthetic provider and plans to incorporate Elaine Sterling Skincare products into her practice.
